We strive to allow students an opportunity for choice within the dress code. However, student dress should not distract from the learning environment. Dress and grooming must be modest and decent. Apparel or appearance must not draw attention to an individual. In matters of opinion, the professional judgement of teachers and administrators will prevail. Students out of dress code will be subject to the disciplinary consequences outline in the HCDE Code of Acceptable Behavior.
Administration makes the final decision on dress code questions/issues.
